Optimal Direct Instantaneous Torque Control for SRMs Using Advanced Sliding Mode Controller

In this paper, an optimal direct instantaneous torque control scheme using terminal sliding mode is proposed to achieve better performance for switched reluctance motors. To obtain faster convergence speed and chattering suppression, the controller based on advanced reaching law proposed. Moreover, hybrid wolf optimization algorithm employed tune adjustable parameters optimum performance. The experimental results show that ripple range of can be reduced by 25% 17% under 0.3 Nm compared with PI conventional controllers. Meanwhile, transient response improved 50% 31% in initial stage, respectively. perform well aspects tracking, dynamic performance, anti-interference capability system, which was validated different conditions.
